David E. Swisher is the Southeast Regional Sales Manager at Current Tools, bringing
more than two decades of sales leadership and business development experience to
the power tool industry. Over the past 12 years, David has specialized in Power Tools
and Power Tool Accessories, holding key roles in both sales and strategic management.
Prior to joining Current Tools, David played a pivotal role in the development of the
Industrial Channel for Spyder Power Tool Accessories, where he also led the creation
and execution of a comprehensive national sales strategy across five vertical markets.
His career began in various sales and management positions across multiple industries,
including a 15-year stretch as co-owner of a plumbing contracting business and
extensive experience in the insurance sector.
David studied Business Administration at The Ohio State University, and throughout his
career, he has been recognized for his ability to build strong client relationships, drive
regional growth, and lead teams through evolving market landscapes and highly
competitive environments.
He currently resides in Charleston, South Carolina, where he enjoys spending time with
his family. Outside of work, David is passionate about golf, biking, and taking in the
Carolina, Georgia and Florida coasts whenever he can.
