As a draftsman, Josh Ruiz creates the drawings for the products and assemblies. He also works with the Quality Assurance department, writes laser cutting programs, and creates the artwork and diagrams for product manuals.

A native of Rhode Island, he has been with Current Tools for almost five years.

In his role, Josh helps to make sure that older parts are updated and that new projects have all of the necessary documentation to allow everything to be welded and assembled correctly and efficiently.

Josh describes himself as “the proud son of immigrants and father to a silly daughter,” and he likes working at Current Tools because of its small-company ambiance.
