Stephen Kolb has been with Current Tools for more than six years, starting as a production welder before moving into the Engineering Department.
His many duties make him something of a Renaissance man, as Stephen builds prototypes, helps to design products, and oversees the production of many of those products.
“I bring a different perspective to our team, as I’ve had not only experience actually building our products, but also helping to design them,” Stephen says.
During the design stage, Stephen helps to determine how to mass-produce Current Tools’ products while maintaining the qualities that customers appreciate the most.
He has enjoyed watching the company grow over the years while maintaining its family-owned flavor.
“I find Current Tools to be a good fit for me personally, as it is very family-oriented and made up of a lot of great people who really enjoy what they are doing and also the industry we serve,” Stephen says. “I enjoy the constant challenges we face trying to solve problems that our customers bring to us, with new ideas of products and changes to better suit our current line.”
